My father and I enjoyed a long and restful stay at the Goderich Guesthouse. Cynthia is the hostess with the mostest which means the cottage is spotless and there are several thoughtful touches throughout. We would not hesitate in recommending the Goderich Guesthouse to anyone and look forward to our stay next year.

Nous louons cette magnifique maison depuis quelques années toute ma famille et moi (frère-soeurs-nièces-conjoints). Cette propriété est un magnifique endroit pour se réunir car on ne manque pas de place avec ses nombreux salons, 8 chambres avec salle de bain et son immense salle à diner. Tout y est dans la cuisine pour une très grande tablée.On y est toujours bien accueillis par les gens qui y font l'entretien. On peut d'ailleurs communiquer avec eux durant le séjour si on a des demandes. La propriétaire, Mme Raines, est gentille et répond assez rapidement aux courriels.Je recommande chaleureusement cet endroit!!!

Ce fut un merveilleux voyage et nous avons eu une température qui m'a permis de revisiter et de nager sur plusieurs plages. Durant cette 19e visite j'ai réussi à découvrir de nouvelles petites merveilles panoramiques. Les Îles nous ont chassé juste à temps pour éviter l'ouragan Fiona. Nous pensons à vous dans ces moments difficiles.

My husband and I stayed in #206 for one week. We were in Québec City for our honeymoon and, as it was our first time in Québec City, we LOVED that we were within walking distance to pretty much everything that we wanted to see. 20 minute walk to Hotel Frontenac is the longest walk but, so many wonderful sight seeing in between.The loft was spacious, tidy, and perfect for us. We loved sitting out on the balcony and playing some games in the evening while watching the activity on Grande Allée Est.Out loft was quiet and cozy and we enjoyed the warmth of this beautifully renovated old character space.Our only issues were that we could not turn off the air conditioner at all. We tried everything so, on chilly days, the room was extremely cold but, on hot days, it wasn't cool enough. No matter what we tried, we could not turn off or change the preset temperature.I would have loved to have had more than two towels for 2 people but, it wasn't terrible. We made do.The parking wasn't the best as, the one time we wanted to use our rental vehicle at night, the big post that sticks up for no apparent reason and blocks the entrance made it impossible for us to get out of the lot. There was another tenant who had paid for parking and was also angry as he was not able to park in the parking lot because of the post. I wish we knew why it was there and we were nervous that, on the day we had to fly home, we would be stuck in the lot.Overall, we very much enjoyed our week long stay and will definitely be back to rent again as we LOVED Québec City so very much.

Endroit merveilleux, chalet invitant, très fonctionnel, vue à couper le souffle, descente pour la mer à quelques pieds du chalet, endroit paisible.

We booked this gem last minute as we arrived by snowmobile! What an amazing find, a delicious dinner was left in our chalet for us! Wonderful Rose-Marie had beer, pop etc available. She provided a great breakfast and was patient with my grade 10 French speaking abilities!Merci!

We had a wonderful time at Kendall and Billie Jean’s property- thank you so much!The Lake is spectacular and we enjoyed the paddle boat ride.My little granddaughter was so happy being outdoors.We also explored the neighbouring counties and found some charming attractions.There were Farmers Markets, breweries and wonderful general stores over 100 years old. Of course, the ice cream stops were an added bonus!The cottage was spacious and very well equipped, and the view of the Lake was special.Highly recommended!

Bel endroit pour des petites vacances en famille! Nous avons louer un chalet, Un excellent compromis entre un hôtel et le camping pour ceux qui veulent un lieu sympa pour les enfants, mais le confort d'un chalet la nuit! Baignade, sable fin, jeux disponibles et à mi-chemin entre Saguenay et lac St-Jean, c'est parfait! Par contre, n'y allez pas si aimez être isolé du monde, car c'est quand même un lieu de vacances donc il y a des campeurs et d'autres chalets proches. Mais tout le monde est très relax!

What can I say? A weekend spent at the Goderich Guesthouse was so awesome that my friend and I did not want to leave! From the moment we opened the front door to fresh scents, spotlessly clean kitchen, dining area and living room we knew it was the perfect choice to spend a weekend sewing and relaxing. Cindy thought of everything ... even a clean sheet to cover the spare bed so we could lay out our quilts. Discreetly Cindy salted the front walk and kept it clear of snow. As we stitched we watched the resident deer outside. If you need a weekend getaway in the country this is the perfect Guesthouse.
